Don't get hurt, rifles are (high) pressure vessels.

Does anyone know if Rondey Story is still casting anything? I called 3-4 times and left messages, I know others that have done the same?
I don't want to keep calling and leaving messages and bothering them, if he is no longer in buiness?
I would be deeply great full if anyone can advise on this.
thanks ACE

As far as i know he's still in business-but probably getting in the harvest, since it's August. He's A farmer by trade, sells Action Castings on the side.Keep trying, phone and e-mail took two weeks to connect with him the last time i bought a set of 1874 Sharps castings. But the casting quality has improved over the last ten years.Good Luck, don't even try unless you don't have a Lathe and a milling machine. You cannot finish these without machine tools.I've been playing with machine tools for thirty years now.

Rodney Storie is notoriously difficult to reach by telephone, the last Rodney Storie castings I bought were from Wes Stanley who sent me a small catalog with the various action casting kits listed, however I haven't talked to Wes Stanley for about a year or so.

Is there a good way to reach Rodney? The numbers I have don't work.
Does anyone have updated contact info for Rodney?

This phone number works +1(405)794-9171 (evenings, or leave a message)
i do have all the machines needed to do the job, and like I said I am in no hurry, for I live on disabilty so it will take me 2-3 years to get all the funds to finish it, I have a remington Rolling Block#1 spooken for, but there are parts missing, and if the guy will dig it out, so I can pay him for it, i was hoping that Rodney would have the rough cast parts I will need to finish it, but I still like to buy a 1885 Jefferies/ Farguharson action, for a much later project!
Many years ago, I had a Remington Rolling block #5 I believe, that i bought at a garage sale, That I had a guy fit a 22 barrel on and then I made the wood and scoped it, I was just married and needed money so I sold it! that was a mistake!
Thanks for letting me in on this topic, and I will try to get a hold of Rodney!
Thanks, you all have a good Day

Yes you are right, I didn't pay any attention to whom you call, the page just stated to call that numbers for imformation, and I apoligize for my mistake, I don't have a clue how to get a hold odf any of them, if someone does know I would be great full my self!
My main reason for wanting to get a action bought, I am in the process of trying to sell my Harley, for I cannot ride it, and looking at it everyday haunts me!! And if I would be able to sell it, the money will disappear and I will get nothing out of something that means alot to me!
I would be greatfull for any and all help!
Thanks
Ac I am going to try to post a pic of my Sharps!
