The man talks out of both sides of his mouth.  If McCain wins the presidency, hold on to your wallet.  If Obama wins, wave goodbye to your money AND your freedoms.  A man is known by the company he keeps...'nuff said.

I can't adequately express my contempt for the candidates of both major parties.

But it's our fault, yes it's OUR fault, for putting up with their lies and other shenanigans.

I'm a single-issue voter and that issue is gun control.
Regards, Joe

Collectively it is our fault because we tolertate it and dont demand better. Obama has supported every gun control measure he ever had a chance to vote for and McCain's talk about gun show loopholes indicates he either doesnt understand the subject matter or cant really be trusted. Based on McCain's record, I think he is the lesser of two evils, and I will vote for him, but I will hold my nose the whole time. Joe S

Obamba talks about safety but what he realy wants is control. The Supreme Court decision specficaly states that having to keep a gun disassembled or locked in your home is NOT reasonable. This means every state and city that requires locks and also the state of California's gun storage requriments are now in violation of the Supreme Court decision. Lets see who has the guts to cram there illegal laws down their throats!
We have to support McCain even if he is only the lesser of two evils.

If Obamba is ellected you can bet he is going to try his best to dance arround the Supreme Court and back door methods to CONTROL us under the guise of SAFETY.

Did you guys buy any hand guns or rifles during the Clinton administration?  I sure did. In fact, a boat load.  Could you guys go hunting under the Clinton administration? I sure did.  I had a freezer full of game.  Could you guys target shoot under the Clinton administration?  I sure did.  In fact, I have the trophies to prove it.  The 2nd amendment is in tact.  It still would be if Obama wins.  We have a constitution that will be intact no matter what.  NO FEAR! This is not Germany.  What are you worried about?  In other areas our country is going down the drain.  We need a change.  The last 7 years have been a total downer for our family.  By the way, my son Ben has served 2 tours in Iraq (USMC).  My son Zach has been in the counter terrortist unit of the Coast Guard.  My daughter Rachel is in the United States Air Force.  This family knows first hand what it means to be patriots. We love our guns and our freedom.  The present administration has done everything it could to take away our freedom.  Please wake up!

Blues man, had Clinton had his way you would not have had all those guns. The other side managed to get the sunset on what crap he got through. Also do you want a majority on the supreme court that decented on the Heller decision. The ones that voted this way were Obama types that he would, if elected, put more in. Also the little girl that was raped and killed in Vermont, her attackers would not get the death penalty for the rape because of this same group on the hi court. There is more at stake here than the supposed change. The only change his record shows is far left and more of it. Tax payers voting for him will be like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders.

Hello bluesman!

I am wide awake! Just becaue you are making a poor decision as to who to vote for doesnt mean anyone is questioning your motives or patriotism! I respect you and your right to dissagree with me(us). As far as the Clinton administration is concerned, the man and his wife are two amoral scoundrels who will do or say anything to get elected and who have never once actually acted to protect the Second Amenement. They manage to give lip service to deer hunters and vote in favor of every and any gun control measure they can. If I remember correctly, under the Clinton Administration , the importation of guns and ammo from China was restricted raising the price of 7.62 X 39 ammo from about 7 cents a round to about 20 cents per round., all while his Chinese campaign contributor got caught trying to smuggle full auto AK 47s into the country. If I remember correctly, the cost of primers was $30 per thousand IF YOU COULD FIND ANY! It was under the Clinton Administration that anyone who ever got convicted of a MISDEMEANOR disorderly conduct involving an allegation or accusation of domestic abuse, even if the abuse(which could include a shouting match) was NEVER PROVEN IN COURT have permanently lost their right to own a gun.. I can give you the names of LOTS of people who went to court and plead NO Contest to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct thinking that it was only a misdemeanor and would not affect their gun rights would be affected only to find out when they went to buy a gun that they were  permanently blocked for life  when the background check was run. This little souvenir of the Clinton Administration is still with us.
I was 100% against the invasion of Iraq because I did not believe our national security was at rist, when John Kerry and all the other two faced jackasses voted for it. Now that we collectively have to pay the price for that decision many are crying uncle and are perfectly willing to publicly tell our enemies that we are quitting. Now that we are there I say we finish the job and when I decide its time to get out I would  NOT  stoop so low as to make a campaign issue out of it and tell our enemies to just hang on for 16 mo and we will leave. Obama has just yesterday announced that he wont pull the troops out without consulting with the experts, so he has already changed his position on that point. He is another one who will promise anything to get elected.
Please note I am NOT defending the Republican Party because they have bungled an opportunity to do some good and have done almost nothing with that opportunity except appoint Justice Roberts, which in and of itself made the difference between keeping and losing our gun rights. Why cant Obama be honest with the people and say that he opposes the private possession of all semi- automatics, including skeet and trap guns and target rifles? Why wont Obama publicy say that he opposes the private possession of handguns? If he lies to us on these issues what can we expect on the subjects of energy, environment, national security, health care, etc, etc, etc?  I would love to continue but its time to cast some bullets while I am still alowed to own lead and shoot it. Joe S

You are correct. We all need to keep active and involved no matter what. The State of Illinois requires a background check and a waiting period on all individual to individual sales at gun shows. I continue to go through these hoops just to prove that I will not be stopped. A lot of people complain and refuse to do person to person sales at gunshows. This is what the antigun people want us to do. The answer is to beat them at their own game.
