I finally found a source for cast bullets minus the gas check, thanks to a journal ad.  He is Bob Hayley in Texas.  I talked to him and asked him what the Brinnel hardness of his bullets was and he said "I don't test for Brinnel hardness but I know they are hard".  I need a Brinell hardness number before I place an order.  I need a number around 30.  Has anyone out there used his bullets and checked the hardness?  Can you tell me what the BHN was?  Thanks, DT

It has been several years, but I bought some loaded .577 Snyder plus additional bullets from him.  Bullets showed a lot of cold flow. For my application (a double rifle) his product was fine; I'd just order a few and check them carefully before ordering in quantity if you are looking for match quality.
