List Barrel???

Hi all. I am considering buying a custom made 25-06. The barrel says LIST on the top of it and I was told that that is who made the barrel as well as possibly the gun. I was just looking for any information I could get on the maker. Thanks for any help.

not sure if this would be anymore help. but it built on a 1917 enfield action.

I never heard of any Gunmaker named List.  Maybe if you try a bolt action forum you might have better luck. This one is a singleshot forum.
