The Quigley Match

I am retiring in March and will be headed back to Montana.  With so much free time on my hands it just seems natural that I should at least once  make the near to 500 mile trek across the state to  Miles city and try the Quigley match just to say I have.

I can't seem to find the rules  for the game, anybody got them?

DD,

In reading about the Q, there doesn't seem to be many rules, smokeless, BP, and duplex is allowed, as for rifles I am not sure.

Try going here and scrolling down and there are results

Then you can ask on that site and some would know.

Hope these can help, or maybe somebody that visits here will chime in.

Douglas,

I will come, that's a certainty - but when, I don't know yet...  Probably not in winter, seems MT can be rather cold and snowy in that period of the year.
FWIW, I'm looking into going to the Lodi, Wisconsin match in Sept, but not sure I can make it though (less than 50%) - and it sure wouldn't help me in getting to Montana, at 2500 km away!
Anyway, I'll have also to give you some time to get settled...

Gert,

The Quigley is in June, doesn't snow in Montana then...normally.
