Rear Irsis threads

Does anyone know the threads dimensions of a Winchester 38A rear aperature?  It appears to be a 10- something but my count doesn't fit my screw checker. I would like to have a Hadley eye cup for a Winchester vernier tang sight.  Are they standardized?  I would also like to know the dimensions for a Steven's 104 rear tang. Thanks

Lyman, redfield, williams all use a 7/32x40 thread on their eyepieces. Same for the merit. Some of the target sights use a metric thread which is somewhat larger than the above 7/32x40 thread, but there are adaptors that will allow you to use the standard thread. Try manhattan supply co for a 7/32x40 die and tap set if you plan on making your own eyepieces. Hope this helps, regards Frank
