The ad in the back of the current Journal shows a large frame .32-40 that will be in their next auction - along with three Remington Walkers!

I suppose you are referring to Julia's auction ?
they have a nice 2 barreled Bullard takedown, with a 32-40 and a .22-5 barrel.
I suppose the .22 is RF ?? But they must have either offset the barrel to work with the center fire breech block, or had some sort of reverseable firing pin ala Ballard; unless there was a spare RF block that is now missing.
I don't recall the listing mentioning an extra breech block, or explaining how the rifle was setup for both CF and RF.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Considering the small number made, and the original price of a Bullard, I'm amazed whenever I see one for sale at any price! Have always coveted owning a Bullard single shot, but I'd have to sell too many others to own even one less than perfect Bullard!

Not Julia's look at the add in the latest Journal in the very back.

Could be a .22 centerfire?  .22 Extra Long Centerfire is listed in COWS as a Maynard cartridge.

Here's the Amoskeag Bullard

There are some beautiful singleshots in those auctions from some great collections.  Bob

For what its worth, here are a couple of photos of the take-down Schuetzen Bullard I owned a few years ago.  38-55 and 22 WCF.  Numbers matched on both barrels.  Wishing now I hadn't sold it!

Thanks for posting those photos.
I am planning on restoring my take down, and am collecting images for reference.

The Julia auction specifies the .22 barrel as being marked - "22-5". I believe the .22 extra long CF or Maynard was .22-10-??
My "battered" Bullard takedown was originally 22-10 ,and so marked; but was rebored to 25-21 at some time

Bullard I saw is not on line or at auction, sitting in the rack at a High Dollar Shotgun shop.

Gave it a quick look did not pick it up. Looked OK Gun sights and all 4000 plus bucks

When I first started collecting high grade American single shots more than 50 years ago the 2 that eluded me were a Bullard and a Farrow. About 10 years ago, my interests  turned to British single shots. A few years ago I found this one that had been redone in .22LR by a British gunsmith, thus filling 2 holes in my collection.
