I need a Schoyen style butt plate for my Yost stock and I was wondering what my options were for suppliers in addition to the CPA product line.

Anyone out there still supplying nickle plated or silver;  or is the steel, brass or case hardened CPA butthooks my only option?

Anyone still have an original Yost Swan butt plate for sale?

I recently purchased a nice Schoyen style buttplate casting (steel) from Track of the Wolf.  I believe it is also available in brass.  I have mine polished, still in the white, as I haven't decided to blue or have it plated.

Dave, stick to benchrest.  You cant stick a Schoyen butt plate on a Yost stock. It's,  it's, well, It's just not done!  If you must proceed with such folly, I suggest you fit the buttplate first , then have it polished and plated. Plating wont make it shoot offhand any better. What's wrong with CPA? Just call and get one.

I got the Lube, fund's are on the way.   Tell Coleen I got sunburned this weekend, beer was ice cold, wind about 16 knots. She'll know what I'm talking about.   Cool

Thanks Greg, Track of the Wolf is a great supplier of hard to find parts that I was unaware of.

Joe, since I can't shoot I might as well make a pretty gun. Now was I supposed to tell Colleen you got sunburned all over?

Just don't have Track of the Wolf do any gunsmithing for you...
Long story.. and some folks get pissy when I tell it.
Just trust me.
