Hook buttplate on Air gun for Schuetzen pratice

Anyone put a hook plate on there air rifle ?  I use my Walther 10M gun a lot on the ASSRA 50 foot target. But it does not balance like my Schuetzen more like a Silouette rifle.

I have a palm rest that fits it and could weight the muzzle easy. But it needs a hook plate to be truly set up like a Schuetzen. Mine has a flat butt plate with a female dovetail. The slightly dished rubber butt slides in that dovetail.  Short of getting another plate cutting it flat and adding a hook I can't see anyway to do it. Something that slides right into the dovetail would be ideal.

Boats,
I used a Freeland hook but blate by taking the male dove tail off and putting the plastic one from the Walther rubber plate on to the  Freeland. I did have to drill new holes in the Freeland but it works fine.
I reduced the target to proper scale for 10M and it is very hard to shoot good scores.
I use the center of the hole to score and the scores are the same as I shoot at 200 yards.

I took the factory (RWS) butt plate off completely and screwed a new thin piece of wood onto the butt and attached the hook to it.  The new piece of wood drops well below the bottom of the original stock line.
I have thought about making the added wood piece into a wedge.  One side thicker than the other so that the hook would point inward toward my body instead of pointing straight back.
Has anybody seen or shot a rifle with this type of hook arrangement?

You guys are thinking along the same lines I am. I was concerned putting a plate on top of the Walther plate the pull would get too long. The modern hook plate I have for a Anschutz 54 has a curved dovetail and no matter how I look at it installed it would be a lot longer than It should be

I think what I will do is look around for another hook like the Freelands

Thanks

Falling block.

I forgot to say I shoot the ASSRA target at the full 50 feet and the 10M Airgun at 10 Meters.

The air rifle does fine at 50 feet but for that distance I have to put the target outside my shop door. 10 M I can get all inside were it's heated.

Boats,
I only used the dovetale part of the Walther butt plate so the length of pull is not much longer than it was to start. the Walther plate on my rifle was in two parts like my Freeland.
Also remember that the ASSRA 50' target is in fact a 75' old gallery target. Who ever it was that came up with the original ASSRA 50' targets didn't know that. I have also scaled the target for 50' but we no longer have a indoor range. Perhaps some day the government will reopen the range but after two years I am not holding my breath.
