Wurflein guns

I have a Wurflein muzzle loading .28 caliber zimmerstutzen rifle with a box lock action and double set triggers.  I know most of his production was single shot break open rifles.  What usually comes up on auctions are zimmerstutzens.    Is anyone aware of a book or online article about Wurflein or his rifles?

The newest Single Shot Exchange has an article on rebuilding a tip up Wurflein.

There's a few Wurflein rifles pictured on Hal Prucha's P-Base site;

longcaribiner....Single Shot Rifles by James J. Grant has a nice chapter on Wurfflein rifles, but it only deals with the breech loading single shots and not the muzzle loaders.  Most of the info in that chapter comes from the Wurfflein 1889 catalog.  They are really nice rifles, but a bit hard to find I'm afraid.  Here are a couple, one in 32-30 Remington (a Hepburn caliber) and the other in 22 RF.

Hope this helps.....
