Miller / Dakota makes a the F model action it is a kind of Farrow the same way that a Falling block works is kinda a Highwall.
Fronteer armory makes a set Farrow castings. In the past they have made up a nice rifle if you have the skill.

Hi Ken,

I plan to make 2 Farrow actions, 1887 models so I bought the Farrow action drawings from Buffalo and was looking hard at the Storie castings to save some time.  Do you know if the Storie drawings are the same as the ones from Buffalo arms for the 1887 action?

Also, how did you cut the block mortice on your Farrow actions?

Thanks,

Allen

It was a;ready cast in. The breechblock required a bit of thinning down in order to fit.   I have been told that the drawing "all" have some missing dimentions.   Ken

Allen,   I didn't put it together but there weren't aby plans/drawings included with kit. I had a friend who did the work ---- he has done many of Rodneys actions.  My favorite is the Redfield.     Ken
