I just got a Browning BPCR and want to mount an internal adjustment  scope to aid in load development.  Anyone know what type works best?

Thanks,

Allen

Allen, several issues back Dale McGee had one of his Competition Corner columns dedicated to mounting modern internal adjust scopes to single shots. right off the top of my head I don;t recall which issue it was but it should help you.  are the BPCRs already tapped for scope mounts?  If so it might be for standard weaver bases.  You might also need to factor the cartridge/recoil into your planning.

The Browning BPCR is drilled and tapped for sights. Weaver bases and Burris Signature Rings to match are the hot setup, in my carefully considered opinion. The inserts for the rings can be a big help when you try for long range. I have shot mine at 500 yards with an internal adjustment scope even tho' it is now wearing a Parsons Long Scope (Malcomb style).
