I had been invited by Charlie at EG to come down to his place - I knew that there were limited benches and knew that others had been going for a long time - didn't want to overcrowd the place so always put it off - I would consider it an honor to come to the "Memorial Match" as a spectator.
I will miss sitting in the clubhouse at EG talking with Charlie.

I returned from Charlie's Sat. evening and have taken a little time to catch up on the board and rest. I left Charles Jr. with the understanding that he intended to write a tribute to his "daddy" and offer it to ASSRA. I'm sure it would include much of the early history which many of the membership are not aware of. Much of the shooting accomplishments and experimental work would not be present. Might I suggest that we 'stand down" until Charles Jr. has time to complete his offering and proceed from there. I'm sure he will contact DWS and if needed I will attempt to make that happen.  John B

JOhn I think that is good.. I hope though that it will not take too terribly long.  I have hopes of getting another issue out by the end of April so we can start catching up.  It is too late to get even a simple notice in the issue that is being printed right now.  So it will have to be covered in some degree in the next one, however we can wait a while longer and do a more complete tribute in a slightly later one when things have settled out a bit more.  I would be honored to communicate with Charlie's son when the timing is right.
