As many of you are aware, Hal Prucha maintained a large collection (over 1000) of single-shot rifle and accessories photos on PhotoBase.  The site is still up, but Hal has not been able to maintain it since he was very badly injured in an automobile accident last year.  It is a wonderful resource not only for collectors but also for gunsmiths and engravers who are re-creating these wonderful classic rifles!  If you have not visited the site, you really owe yourself the experience!!  Go to:  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links); Since Hal is no longer able to maiintain the site, I have agreed to help out.  If you have suggestions for adding to or improving the information posted with existing photos please let me know.  If you have good photos of interesting rifles and/or accessories I will post them if you send them to:  leon.umsted@sbcglobal.net  No information regarding the ownership of any item in any photo will be posted or shared without the express permission of the owner.  Meanwhile, Hal would love to hear from any of his friends.  He is unable to see at this time but can reply to email.  If you do not have his contact information, please let me know and I will send it to you.
