  The Association really need to know the status of the life memberships.  There must be a couple of hundred of them but we have no mechanism to follow up unless some one tells us that so and so has passed away. there are legal aspects of the way the life membership funds are accounted for and handled

I know that the cyber-community is a relatively small %-age of the membership but I believe that represent a pretty broad slice of the affiliated clubs.  I've asked in the J before but had no response.  I'd be happy to run a tasteful  "Left the range" kind of obit. list  IF i get the info from the local sources.  could some of you guys make a point to post here or otherwise let us know when members of ASSRA and your local orgs pass away.

I'm serious about this so don't everyone go emailing me to tell me that Froggie croaked.
