Is it possible for me to straighten the lower tang on my high wall from a pistol grip to a straight grip without any damage? How?

Thanks

Nathan

Nathan,
The first question is the tang an original pistol grip.
If yes don't straighten it! It can be done it but would be better to trade it for a straight gip tang. I may have one.

Hey Glen, You wanna trade a double set for an original close-coupled double set (was straight and is now a pg)? I know that you are partial to the close ones and all my other walls have the double sets with Helm levers. I'm going into withdrawl...no matches untill March! I've got two and a half stocks to do this Winter so I ought to be busy at any rate. Keep warm, Ken

Ken:

I am indeed interested in obtaining a a CCDST assembly. I reckon for the purpose I have in mind it doesn't matter if it is original or a quality reproduction. The one I have is a Ben Rice trigger.

The only Schuetzen DSTs I have here are partially finished sets that were made by Paul Shuttleworth. I have yet to finish a set to see how good they are. This is probably not what you are looking for anyway.

Still, mayhaps we can come to some sort of agreeable arrangement. Write it to me an email and we can disgust it.

Glenn
