ASST Recovers

Keith Foster had his second Total Hip Replacement operation Monday morning in Ft Wayne.  He came through in fine shape for him at least. So they sent him home yesterday afternoon.   Practically a hit and run job.  Either the insurance company is cheap or he was being real obnoxious. Act5ually that short a stay is the norm now for a THR job.  Amazing!!! He is home now and recuperating and starting his rehab.  So come the spring 22 shoot he'll be a whole new man or at least an improved retread.

Get well Keith, my prayers are now for Tammy!

Good news!  Hey Kieth, get well soon!  I knew you were scheduled around Thanksgiving, glad to hear it went well.

Cloudy Day sends her best wishes for a speedy recovery.  Looking forward to seeing you in the Spring!

hi ho keith,

this loly gaging around has just got to stop.. this is the second time in less than a year you are 'recuperating' i think that means laying around doin' nuthin.

if you are making payments on the thr. please keep up the payments. i had a knee replacement and didn't pay on time, so it was reposessed. and that ain't fun, i was chased down the street by a madman wielding a machete and he wacked of my leg just above the knee to get the ss knee back. now the phrase, 'stand on your hind legs and shoot like a man' does not apply to me. now it's stand on your hind leg and fake it.

take care and ..ttfn..grampa..

HMMM, totally bionic hips...does this mean we won't need to use the tired old tractor to pull the Geezer wagon this year and can just have ASST pull it down without breaking a sweat?  Grin

Get well quick buddy, have a great Christmas, and I'll see you at OGCA!

Thanks Y'all,  I had the Dr do some special additions, I have locking hips that will make me very stable for offhand shooting.
The zerks are in a very accessable but hidden area, When the LOF comes due I get a othriscopic exam at the same time.

Keith,
I had just heard last week that you'd had the other hip replaced.  Hope you recover quickly and will be over those pains you had.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.  good luck.

Keith, Edgar Allen Poe wrote a short story called, "The Man That Was All Used Up". Seems this army officer, post-Mexican war, returns to his hotel room after attending a social function. He proceeds to remove hair, glass eye, artifical legs, teeth, arm, etc., etc., moral, if any, it could be worse.

Glad to hear all went well, and you are home! Not a better New Year's gift, than to be home and on the mend!
