Uberti High Wall Thread size?

Anyone know if the Uberti High Walls barrel diameter/threads per inch & shank length are the same as original Winchester High Walls?

As I remember, the thread length & diameter are the same but the pitch is 20 tpi instead of the original Winchester 16 tpi. But don't depend on MY memory, you really need to measure. If you're thinking of buying a Uberti bbl to install on a Win wall, 20 tpi will not rethread into 16 tpi & still retain the same diameter.

Saved me some work and time, did not want to pull the barrel on a new Uberti to find out what threads it had! You are absolutely correct in that you cannot re-cut from one thread pitch to another and maintain the correct diameter or any semblance of a correct thread profile. Actually though was going the other way by trying to fit a high wall barrel in 32-35 Stevens to a Uberti action for a friend!
