Remington Rolling block trigger job?

Need some help with a new project rifle? A Remington rolling block #1 I think, with a newly installed Douglas barrel chambered in 40/65W, it has a C. Sharps arms long range rear sight and Lyman #17 on the front. The barrel was fitted correctly and rifle functions and fires very well.
Now to the part where I need help, it has a 20lb+ trigger pull  Cry, does anyone know of a book or manual that tells or shows how to do the trigger reduction on a rolling block correctly?
If instructions are not available, is there a gunsmith anyone can recommend in the southeast PA area that works on rolling blocks & if not local, then one that will do a professional trigger job in the USA, I’m not looking for 2lb trigger pull just one that is smooth and manageable?

Thanks for your help in advance,
MIKE-T  Smiley

ssdave, Thank you so much for your help, does not sound at all difficult and will give it a try & let you know how successful the project goes!

Just may have to take you up on the offer to purchase one of your spring's though, do not know if I can find my music wire supply in the new garage, will contact you later if my search is unsuccessful!

This rolling block is the first CF large frame one that I have owned, just hate to hack away at something with out some prior knowledge on the subject!

Thanks again, MIKE-T Smiley Smiley Smiley

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I put one of Dave's springs in my Hepburn, and my Roller. The Hepburn went from about 10 lbs. to 2 lbs., and the Roller went from 13 lbs. to about 2.5 lbs.
Thanks Dave!

Hello,
   SSDave,
Can you send me info so I can purchase a few of those springs. A buddy and I have a RB & Hepburn project. I would like to start with your springs before we do anything with the triggers.  Thanks Jesse
