Martini 12/15 converted to centerfire, chambered for breech seated only .357 Max.  Factory ammo won't make the turn into the chamber, the way I have the loading trough ground.

I'm getting ready to have John Bly make me a .35-30 barrel for my 1873 Maynard; does that count?   Grin

Are any of you in this discussion working on the dark side, or are you using the new stuff that's not quite so nasty after you shoot it?

Sure it counts but why do we try so hard to use full loads of the Black stuff when we should be using a little of the newer stuff and a bunch of old stuff with it? They  called it shooting clean in the old days I think!!! Nail.....

.35 220 Gr. cast in a .357 Max Contender carbine if that counts. I got the mould for a .35 Whelen but had problems with sholder set-back. It works great in the rimmed Maximum case.
Best,
Mike

I have one of the first Remington 600 carbines in 350 mag. It realy likes the RCBS 180gr. gc sil. bullet also have a H&G 160 gr.wad cutter it likes. With factory loads the gun kicks harder than my #1 Ruger in .458 Win. The 350 is the most acurate hunting rifle I have ever owned.I want to build this caliber on a martini action some day.
thanks for indulging me
Tom
