nail, a 27 inch #5 ought to be rigid enough and plenty heavy enough for your purposes. as i said before, i've never known you to back away from a heavy rifle...quite the contrary actually!!! ...give me a shout....blue

plumloco, you can get your barrel purple...all i have to do is heat it with a torch for a while. stick with the raw steel look,....besides, i think the nailman meant BLANK...not black.but....i know you and purple...it just aint' natural......blue

hey nail, do you know much about those mike brooks widow maker rifles??? last time i looked you held most or all the smoothbore records at friendship with em'....., .55 smooth if i'm not mistaken. i know it's not a metallic cartridge rifle, but was that a .540 ball you were shooting run down with "nailman juice"?????.....blue

Now don't be telling everyone who I am on this board. With my juice I was using .542 and 15 thousands patch. With 3FFF.
