	I'm ready to load cast for in .32-20 rechambered Martini Cadet. I need a starting load for the 160gr tumble lube Lee custom. Any suggestions? Also looking for starting loads for the Blackhawk in 30 carbine using the heavy 160gr bullet . Thanks!

	CatWhisperer, if your cadet still has the original barrel, then I'm not too sure that bullet will stabilize. Twist is rather slow, and optimized for the original 120gr RN heeled bullet. Also, groove diameter is quite a bit bigger than .312 - more like .320. Seems to me like you need other bullets for that rechambered cadet - the heel-type bullet used originally in the original .310 cartridge. Molds are still available, and bullets can still be purchased. But I do doubt that 160gr bullet will be stabilized in that barrel... These little rifles are a real pleasure to shoot, but rechambering them to .32-20 was a mistake IMO - the bullet diameter issue will make any accuracy impossible. And a good cadet can shoto quite accurately indeed...

	MartiniBelgian - I agree with you, the rechambering was not a good idea. That's why I got such a good price on it. Virtually no wear on that action and only minor handling wear on the outside. So, I'm going to call it .33-20 or 8mm-20. Agree with you on the 160gr being a bit too long/heavy for stabilization. The 311420 (117gr gc) appears to be two whiskers too small, but the gas check would probably be ok. With the thinness of the .32-20 casing I think I'd do best without a healed boolet but I'll likely try some anyway. The quest goes on. Thanks!

	32-20 cases will work, in my .310 (still original) I use trimmed 32-20 brass - in your case, just load the correct heeled bullet, and you're ready to go! Hell, CBC in Oz. even makes a special mould for these rechambered rifles, just the price of a mould and you're in business! And believe me, accurcacy on these little rifles can be quite astionishing when handled by someone who knows!

	Good lookin' boolets there. I think a chamber cast is in order - to see if I need the healed boolet or not. An experiment of paper patching what I have is in order too. CBE mentioned that the Cadet would stabilize up to 145gr. so that limits it, but only a little.
