re-de priming

I was reading in Mr.Dells book about a re-de priming tool made by Jerry Simmons.  I don,t know if they are still available and if so how to go about getting one.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Jerry sells them direct and they may also be bought (I think) from Dixie Gun Works for more money.  Last time I looked, he was advertising in the SS Exchange, and I wouldn't be surprised if his address showed up in the SSR Journal. Failing in both of those, his address can probably be had on this board, I just don't have it handy.

Thank you for information.  Will be adding a new item to the growing equipment supply.

38-55, I think you will like the Simmons "re- and de-" as it is usually called.  It has become the "industry standard" and it seems that each of us just has to have one or more (I have 2 and use the heck out of them.)  When you order, be aware that you must get the shell holder heads for each caliber you need from Jerry also... his unit uses a unique head that is threaded for the main body.  They work very well and actually are easier to change (for me at least) than the ones that use an RCBS-type shell holder.  Jerry makes shell holder heads for about any case you can imagine and some you probably can't!  Roll Eyes

BTW, a couple of different but also very nice designs that are possibly on the horizon but not available quite yet are a Peterson type from Dave Arawinko and a Bremer type that one of our board's active members used to make and may make again.  I shouldn't say any more about them now, but stay tuned for further details.   8)
