Hopkins & Allen 12 ga. Falling Block

???I have come across this gun for a repair. The only markings on it are "The Hopkins & Allen Manufacturing Company, Norwich, Conn. Pat June 28 85 and October 2 88".
I have been trying to find a drawing or schematic but with no luck. I am hoping that soneone on this board can help or point me in the direction of help.
I am new here but love to shoot. Have a  TongueSharps 1874 repro and am looking for a place to shoot in Central Florida. Thanks and I am happy to be here. Smiley

My best guess is you have the Large Frame action. You can find a breakdown of parts and some information of the action in deHaas's book Single Shot Rifles and actions on page 213

Cheesy Thanks 40 Rod I will try to find it. I do not have the book yet. Having a hard time locating one. Any ideas?

  You can get any of several of Frank deHaas's book by ordering from his boy Mark at:

Ridgeway, MO  64481

  The book 40Rod mentions, "Single Shot Rifles and Actions", costs $27 ppd. Add $1.50 for Canadian orders.
