ISO....Browning  M-1885

Hi All...

I am trying to decide between the Fenris Wolf and the newer production Browning M-1885 in say like 30.06 or .270.

I know how to get ahold of FWA.

But does anyone have any lines or sources for one of these Brownings??  I've tried all over here in PA and on the usual gun auction sites.   These are hard to find.  Heck, I'd even be interested in a used gun.  Anyway, any help would be appreciated.  TIA!!

I have the Browning 1885 in the 270.  It shoots well when I do my part.  While I am not interested in selling it, I did see on I think it was Auctionarms.com and listing for a Browining B-78 in 30-06.  It took me several months of looking to find mine and they tend to be pricey.  The one I see most often are the high wall in 22-250.  The 30-06, 270, and 243 are hard to find.

Good luck.

CJ...

Thanks for the reply!!  Yeah I had seen a couple on the auction sights in both calibers before I decided on what I wanted to purchase.  As usual once I made up my mind it was too late, they were gone.  If I can't find one soon I am going to have Fenris Wolfs Arms build one up for me in 6.5 swede.

Browning also chambered their new version of the 1885 lo-wall in .260 Rem.  probably real hard to find, but if you like the Swede . . . . .
