I am not a regular on this forum but would appreciate some help with my single shot.  I have a BSA Model 6 with a Martini-Henry action in the obsolete British caliber .300 Sherwood (also know as .300 extra long).  Reloading has been an adventure.  Brass is available from Bertrams in Australia through American dealers such as Midway.  Getting an appropriate bullet has been more interesting.  Slugging the bore comes out to .300-.301.  I have used a 130 gr. .308 bullet from Huntingtons that I resized to .302 in a Lee resizer die.  Huntingtons has discontinued the bullet and I am having trouble finding a 120-140 grain relatively soft (so I can resize) .308 bullet.  Any assistance finding one would be appreciated.  I have started a webpage on the .300 Sherwood at:

If I 'm not mistaken there are the 7.35mm Carcano bullets which should fit - although inding them would not be that easy...  But browsing through the Johansen catalogue (Germany) gave me at least a few different sources.
