Just wanted to brag about my newly color cased FBW action (28-30)I received in the mail today. The work was done by Classic Guns and is nothing short of fantastic !!!!   I had cut a small oval pattern on each side and added a gold leaf in the center of this patten, the work stood out nicely against the beautiful colors.  These are the guys to use.   Ken

Hey, Ken...

How's about adding me to the list for pictures as well?  The Hepburn is getting closer, have the buttplate fitted and will glass the action either today or tomorrow.

Gentlemens:

I have not been able to open the pictures of Ken's rifles either, but my computer and I have something of a personallity conflict.

Howsomever, I too have had some work done by Classic and it is first class. The colors are vibrant and it is real color case hardening, as in hard. We recently sent them a little Winchester gallery gun with the "intructions to make it pretty".  They rust blued the barrel and magazine tube, colored cased the action and nitre blued the smaller parts. The little rifle is just beautiful!

Yeah, yeah --- Glenn is so right,  best work ever !!!   Speaking of work,  Glenn is finishing a 40-50 SBN Hepburn for me and First Shirt is doing the full crotch walnut stock.  When they return the rifle , I will engrave & send on to Classic Guns for the same color case & nitre blue parts such as the side lever, screws and breech block.  First shirt might send anyone a pic of it if asked. He does a great job of stock work for your info.  Just ask HST ( Glenn Fewless) ,  Glenn's hiwall was done by First Shirt and everyone raves about it !!      Ken

Okay guys,   Miss Julie just took a pic of the FBW action that was color cased by "Classic Guns" .  I have a small patch of gold scroll in the steel cut engraving pattern. The steel cut pattern doesn't show but the color case is fantastic. The nice thing about color casing is that you never know for sure what patter of colors you'll get  I will be happy to send a copy to anyone who writes for it.  Write me at ;

OK, trying this again.  If this works, this is Ken's #3 Ruger that he sent me a photo of.  It is one pretty rifle!

Why thank you Mr. Greg, did I also send you a pic of the lowall with the show grade English stock ?  I can't wait to see the masterpiece job you do on that 100% crotch walnut butt stock on the Hepburn. Perhaps you should post a pic. of it to show off the workmanship ...   Did I send you a pic of the color case on the FBW action ?  I have a small bit of gold in it & it teally stands out.  Keep me posted on your progress on the hartburn special.    Ken
