In my CPA 32/40 with a Hoch 200gr, Rem 2 1/2 primer, Emmerts lube I'm getting 1380 over the chrono using 14.1 gr of IMR 4227. Best wall hanger target has been 5 shots at 100yds in .319".

Velocities for H108 or AA#9 loads in 32 Miller (1.470" .357 Max tapered with .223 die) using 20:1 lead:tin 205 grain Jones or 204 grain Barnett mold in a 14 gain twist 30" vs 25" Smith barrel:

12.4 grains  1512 fps  vs  1384 fps
12.5 grains  1516 fps  vs  1387 fps
12.6 grains  1531 fps  vs  1403 fps
12.7 grains  1536 fps  vs  1408 fps
12.8 grains  1544 fps
12.9 grains  1552 fps
13.0 grains  1566 fps
13.1 grains  1576 fps

So a barrel 5 inches longer resulted in an average increase of 128 fps.

Note: Pressure signs will start to show if you go over 13.1 grains.
